About Enxhi

Her Journey

Enxhi Shima is a former professional ballet dancer and certified dance pedagogue, trained in the Vaganova method at the National Ballet School of Albania. At 18, she became the first Albanian ballerina to perform with the Russian State Ballet and the Bolshoi Theatre.
Following an international performing career, she turned her focus to pedagogy, earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Dance Pedagogy from University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim. She went on to teach classical ballet technique at the University and at various institutions across Germany and abroad.

Today, Enxhi works internationally with both dancers and non-dancers, offering personalized coaching in strength, mobility, and performance. Drawing on additional training in anatomy, communication psychology, and coaching science, she integrates the structure of ballet with modern methods for enhancing physical and mental performance. Her work supports individuals in high-pressure settings—whether in the studio, on stage, or in elite sports environments.

Alongside her ballet coaching, Enxhi has developed a specialization in human performance, completing advanced studies in exercise science, coaching psychology, and recovery strategies through institutions such as Yale, UC Davis, and the University of Copenhagen. She now coaches private clients 1:1, combining her artistic foundation with scientific insight to improve strength, flexibility, and focus. Enxhi is dedicated to guiding each client toward their fullest potential through a thoughtful balance of experience, knowledge, and personal attention.
